Florian Feulner shows how we at HERMOS made the transition from island to flow production.
HERMOS Schaltanlagen at the 3rd Schaltschrank Festival

On September 3, 2026, the industry will meet at the 3rd Schaltschrank Festival at the Hugo Junkers Hangar in Mönchengladbach. For one day, everything will revolve around modern solutions, best practices, and new impulses in switchgear manufacturing. HERMOS Schaltanlagen will also be there this year – bringing experience directly from our own production to the stage.
Florian Feulner from HERMOS Schaltanlagen will provide insights in his presentation “From Island to Flow Production” into a transformation process that we have intensively supported and shaped over the past 18 months.
How does production change through this conversion? What experiences have we gained along the way? And above all: What have we learned from it?
The presentation is not a theoretical look at new production concepts, but an experience report from 18 months of practice. Florian shows what challenges the conversion brings, what insights we have gained, and how processes in switchgear manufacturing can be further developed as a result.
