From initial technical clarification to final documentation, we establish the foundation for standards-compliant and professionally designed switchgear.
Services at a Glance
As part of our engineering services, we create all relevant planning documents for your switchgear – from initial conception to final documentation. This includes circuit diagrams, layout and terminal diagrams, cable plans, and detailed bills of materials.
The foundation is formed by your project data – such as piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), functional descriptions, or specifications – which we transform into an integrated electrotechnical design. With EPLAN Electric P8, we ensure structured, consistent planning and create the basis for efficient production and smooth commissioning.

Norms & Standards
Our project planning is always carried out in compliance with national and international norms and guidelines. These include DIN EN 81346, DIN EN 61439, and DIN EN 60204, as well as ANSI and NFPA specifications.
If required, we also take UL508A or NFPA79 guidelines into account to ensure a standards-compliant, safe, and globally applicable solution.

Advanced Engineering Services
In addition to traditional planning, we also provide advanced engineering services. These include technical coordination with customers and internal departments, as well as the consideration of project- and country-specific requirements.
Furthermore, we handle the design and dimensioning of main and control circuits and, upon request, integrate specific requirements such as SIL concepts.

Documentation & Verification
A central component of our engineering is complete and standards-compliant documentation.
We prepare all necessary documents for the assignment of CE, UKCA, or UL markings, ensuring maximum transparency. Additionally, we perform design verifications, thermal assessments, and short-circuit current calculations, providing all relevant data for further implementation.

Handover & Integration
Upon completion of the engineering phase, we ensure that all developed data transitions optimally into the next project phases.
The documents are provided in a structured manner for production and form a reliable basis for assembly and commissioning. This ensures a smooth process and efficient implementation up to the final functional test.

Sub-distribution Boards / LVMD
For the planning and design of sub-distribution boards and low-voltage main distribution systems, we use StriePlan, ABB e-configure, VAMOCAD, RiPower, and Hagercad in addition to EPLAN Electric P8, depending on the project.
