Apprenticeship

Congratulations to Tom & Manuel

Our two apprentices shortened their training due to excellent performance

Group of people at an award ceremony.

Tom Pfaffenberger and Manuel Brendel have completed their apprenticeship as electronics technicians for operational technology at HERMOS Schaltanlagen GmbH ahead of schedule, achieving an average grade of 1.0.

Our two exceptional talents demonstrated full dedication from day one and were thus able to shorten their training period after 3 years of apprenticeship due to their excellent performance.

HERMOS not only offers a positive working environment near their place of residence but also provides an in-house HERMOS training group for learning the content. This includes, for example, testing, measuring, and adjusting systems and machines to ensure they function optimally for our customers.

During their apprenticeship, Tom and Manuel learned how to adjust, assemble, wire, and connect control technology modules and devices, as well as adapt components through mechanical processing. Measuring and calculating electrical quantities are also part of their duties, as is checking control and regulation systems.

The configuration and programming of controls, as well as the installation of software, were also important components of the apprenticeship. During and after the completion of the control cabinet, acceptance and test protocols must be created, which form the basis for developing optimized processes.

Even after their apprenticeship, HERMOS continues to offer excellent development opportunities and many benefits that enhance daily professional life.

Dear Tom, dear Manuel, we warmly congratulate you on passing your exams! We are delighted that you remain part of the HERMOS family and wish you much joy and success on your continued journey in manufacturing at HERMOS Schaltanlagen GmbH.
